For my class I need to know which planetoid structure compounds are closest to Planet X014. Could someone please help me out here. If it helps the segment we’re on right now is Astrometry.

It would also help if someone could tell me the nearest Neutron Star.

Nova.astrometry.net slow?

Usually I can get a result in just a few minutes off the website. Tonight it’s taken over an hour for two different images on both mobile and desktop and still not done.
Website issue or just bogged down with jobs around new moon?

ELI5: How are computers able to use astrometry when the weather (winds, seasons, rain,...) is mostly due to random fluctuations out of a retail price at a 7 mean in Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP)?

Help with Astrometry.net?

I am trying to upload a .fits file that I have to plate solve and submit to AAVSO, but its giving me the following error:
...get_or_create_image(df) File "process_submissions.py", line 584, in get_or_create_image img = create_source_list(df) File "process_submissions.py", line 668, in create_source_list raise e TypeError: cannot perform reduce with flexible type
The image was taken with a DSLR as a raw .CR2, calibrated by AstroImageJ using master flats, darks, and biases that I took, and the resulting .fits files were edited to contain the proper date and filter (because the camera wouldn't supply this info). Does anyone know what's up?
Help is greatly appriciated.

I have a mac, so I tried downloading the Astrometry software and doing that way. Now it says "ffopen could not interpret primary array header of file". More clear error message, I guess. I can share what the .fits information in textedit:
